Here at the Utah Athletic Center we have created tons of programs to help improve your athlete both mentally and physically.
Let’s start with the mental side of training.
We’ve all heard the saying, “Whether you believe you can or can’t, you are right.” Belief starts the development process and is the fuel for the type of effort you are willing to give. Your effort determines the amount of skill or competence you gain and when you are competent you feel confident and capable of succeeding. Our Mindset Course is designed to take each athlete through the process of developing the necessary tools to build the future they desire. Our summer course has 24 lessons that have changed the mindsets and therefore the futures of 1,000’s of athletes.

The average vertical gain last summer was 4 inches in a group of about 100 athletes. The highest vertical gain was 8 inches.

Here is something super interesting. The world record holder in swimming back in the early 1900’s for ALL events are now being broken by high school girls. How is that possible? Are athletes just getting faster, stronger, more disciplined? What is going on?
There are several factors that influence why athletes are becoming bigger, faster, stronger. According to the book, “The Sports Gene”, advances in technology is probably the biggest factor.
